Welcome to LightPath Study Bible ("LightPath", "we", "us"). By using our website, app, or services you agree to these terms. Please read them; they are written to be plain and fair.
LightPath is a Bible study application featuring the King James Version (KJV) of the Bible, Strong's Concordance, audio Bible reading, personal notes and highlights, a daily Verse of the Day, community features, and answers to Bible questions powered by artificial intelligence. The KJV text and Strong's Concordance are in the public domain.
Answers from Ask the Bible and verse explanations are generated by artificial intelligence guided by Scripture. They are offered as a study aid to help you search the Word, not as doctrine, prophecy, or a substitute for prayerful personal study, your own reading of Scripture, or counsel from your pastor or church. AI systems can make mistakes. Always test what you read against the Bible itself.
You agree not to:
We may remove content or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or harm the service or its community. Where reasonable, we will warn you first.
Your notes, highlights, and other study content belong to you. By submitting content to shared features (such as community verses or chat), you give us permission to display it within the service as those features require. You are responsible for what you post.
We work hard to keep LightPath running smoothly, including automated health monitoring, but the service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and features may occasionally change, break, or be temporarily unavailable.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, LightPath and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose (or $50 if you paid nothing). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
You may stop using LightPath or ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing contact@lightpathstudybible.com. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as limitation of liability) survive.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Texas.
If we make meaningful changes we will update the date at the top and, for significant changes, let you know in the app or by email. Continuing to use LightPath after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
